AERA welcomes Rob Munro to the position of Membership and Technical Development. This new position will help develop and implement programs for new membership, membership retention, PROSIS PRO development and more.
Rob has 31 years of industry experience and is the owner of Valley Speed Machine Shop in Kamloops, British Columbia. He has completed two formal apprenticeships in both Automotive Machining and Automotive Service Technician, as well as a certification in alternate fuel vehicle conversion. In 2000, Rob’s shop won the prestigious “Machine Shop of the Year Award”.
Rob began serving AERA as a board member in 2001, served as board chairman in 2007, and continued serving as an advisor into 2014. We look forward to working more closely with Rob designing and implementing programs for our members. Rob can be reached at rob@aera.org.
